I wish I had an interest in fishing because you all seem like jolly good chaps but sadly I couldnt give a shit.

Its nice to finally see someone use the image board format for something wholesome like fishing instead of the disgusting anime filth and stupid video games you see on ever other image board.

I just thought I'd give you all a little notice. I have reported this site to Big Daddy of Gamefishin (ever heard of him?) and you all should be getting a letter from him soon forcing you to remove stuff immediately. Now, don't try to remove it, just let them do their thing, then remove it. In fact, you all might just be closed down!

I'm not kidding around with you guys, I'm serious. I never liked this web site and I intend to have Big Daddy close this place down. You all should be getting a letter soon from the Gamefishin legal department saying to take down this site immediately. Tell you what, send a message to Big Daddy and ask him if anybody has reported this site to him. If you all don't take it down, well, you'll be hearing from his lawyers. I'm serious. Big Daddy is not laughing at this site. I emailed him and he is not happy with the content of this site. Either you guys remove it, or get a nasty letter from his lawyers.

Fishchan is a depraved internet community that congealed in a gutter, as the brainchild of a gamefishin reject. His vision: when a person (or worse yet, a group) is too inexpressibly perverted to be accepted, their one timorous hope of retaining humanity is lodged deep within the fetid bowels of a website that specializes in pushing the definition of hideous. Therein lies the problem; this reductio ad absurdum-style website has held absolutely nothing sacred, and as there is no proverbial "bar" set, there is no filtering of the shitty content from the passable content - a process known as retardification. However, throughout the years, this community has grown, like a sore on the asshole of life; persistent, festering - and has tenaciously struggled (semi-successfully) to live through more disasters and shit than the sewers under the world trade center.

Fishchan's creator and nerd of questionable ethnicity, started off with pure intentions and originally intended his site to be for pretty cool guys. And indeed, it was - complete with exciting posts about shit nobody cares about, truly setting it apart from the competition. Fishchan relied heavily on the habits of the casual fishermen of the internet, and their post-masturbation tendency to stop looking at porn for 5 minutes and start flaming each other on the internet. For a time, this was a formula for success and soon, it was seeing at least 100 unique visitors per month.

Much like modern day humans evolved from their predecessors, many Fishchanners, are the remnants of losers that gamefishin discarded long ago; and as a whole have morphed into something altogether different yet the same. The comments on all the topics are made up of nothing more than flocks of mindless fucking seagulls, all scrambling to be the first one to post a witty zinger that relates to the content. This is exacerbated by the fact that they are largely unfunny.

Perhaps the worst of all, users can submit whatever the fuck they want. Administrators and mods do not act as a filter for shitty content, leaving only salacious bouts of verbal abuse and inconsequential IRL threats as a penalty for posting stupid shit. The end result is s
